We are committed to the special needs of our graduates and guests. Students who are participating in Commencement weekend and require accessibility assistance should call the Commencement Hotline at 317-278-1700 by Monday, May 8.
Designated areas will be available for wheelchair seating at the main ceremony and all school recognition events. A limited number of wheelchairs also will be available at no charge to guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Ushers will direct guests to wheelchair seating and wheelchair distribution centers.
Information about drop-off areas for the main ceremony are available on the Lucas Oil Stadium website.
School recognition events held at the Indiana Convention Center will be accessible via the Maryland Street entrance, which has a circular drive where students and guests with disabilities may be dropped off at the lobby door.
Another Indiana Convention Center drop-off area is available on the west side of Capitol Avenue at Georgia Street. This entrance is most accessible for guests attending recognition events in Rooms 134–138 and Hall J.
For guests who have difficulty hearing, the university Commencement ceremony will be closed-captioned on several large screens in Lucas Oil Stadium.
