Where to stay, eat, and go in Indianapolis

There are hundreds of options and combinations for places to stay and eat while you’re visiting Indianapolis for Commencement.

Some helpful tips:

• IUPUI’s Spring Commencement routinely coincides with Mother’s Day. If you’re interested in celebrating your academic success someplace special, check with the restaurant for reservations first.
• Several conventions and sporting events often take place the same week or weekend as IUPUI’s Commencement. Book your hotel early.
• The closest hotels to campus include the J.W. Marriott at 10 South West Street and its sister brands connected to the same facility and the Hyatt Regency at 1 South Capitol Ave.
• If you’re looking for someplace to stay that’s unique and interesting, Indy’s newest hotel at the Bottleworks is worth checking out, as well as various Airbnbs.
